This is a senior, high‑impact role, partnering closely with the Finance Director and wider finance leadership to transform how finance operates across systems, processes, data, and ways of working.

Responsibilities will include managing purchase and sales ledgers, processing payments, undertaking reconciliations, overseeing timesheet administration, managing CIS and VAT return processes, handling expenses, and carrying out ad-hoc finance functions.

We're seeking an experienced Interim Procurement Manager to shape strategy, drive value and support organisational direction. As Procurement Manager, you'll work closely with the CFO on medium‑term planning, lead procurement and category strategies, ensure compliance, and balance cost efficiency with quality.

As Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting sustainable growth through effective cost management and insightful financial analysis. You will work directly with Finance Directors and senior stakeholders, helping shape budgets, forecasts, and investment decisions while embedding a cost‑conscious culture across the business.

This is a maternity cover contract for 12 months.

The post reports directly into our Director of Finance and the team comprises of a Finance & Funding Officer and a Finance Assistant & Purchase Ledger Clerk. The postholder will have broad experience in a Finance team, ideally in an education setting. The main focus of the post will be on management reporting and payroll as the post carries the responsibility of overseeing the organisation's payroll each month.
