The Revenue Accounting Analyst will play an integral role in managing financial processes and ensuring the accuracy of revenue reporting within the leisure, travel & tourism industry. This temporary position is based in Glasgow and offers a great opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced accounting and finance team.

Job Description

  • Prepare and analyse revenue reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Monitor and report on revenue trends to support decision-making processes.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Support system improvements to enhance efficiency in revenue accounting processes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Revenue Accounting Analyst should have:

  • Previous experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within the leisure, travel & tourism industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • An understanding of revenue recognition principles and financial reporting standards.
  • The ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a temporary role.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams.
