Job Description

  • Process end to end outsourced monthly payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees.
  • Maintain detailed payroll records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure data accuracy and alignment.
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to relevant authorities.
  • Assist with pension contributions and other deductions as required.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and employment legislation in payroll processes.
  • Support internal audits and implement recommendations related to payroll.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Officer should have:

  • 5+ years experience in payroll processing and familiarity with payroll software.
  • immediately available or on a 1 / 2 week notice.
  • Strong knowledge end to end outsourced payroll across the UK and republic of Ireland.
  • Proficiency in accounting and finance principles relevant to payroll (payroll reconciliations and payroll journals.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
