Job Description

  • Process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including employee details, tax codes, and deductions.
  • Handle payroll queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of statutory returns.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to payroll.
  • Support audits by providing necessary payroll documentation and reports.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and systems.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Payroll Administrator should have:

  • Previous experience in payroll processing and administration.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • A understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication skills to handle payroll queries and liaise with internal teams.
