Job Description

  • Prepare and present accurate financial reports to support business planning and performance reviews.
  • Analyse variances and provide insights to enhance cost control and profitability.
  • Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes to align with company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to provide financial guidance and support.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with external auditors as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the finance function.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry or a comparable sector.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, with excellent Excel skills.
  • A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • The ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate financial insights clearly.
