Job Description

  • Process invoices and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions accurately.
  • Monitor and resolve invoice discrepancies in coordination with vendors.
  • Maintain detailed records of financial transactions for auditing purposes.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes and reporting.
  • Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries regarding accounts payable matters.
  • Support the accounting and finance team with additional tasks as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

  • Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Competence in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • A practical understanding of the FMCG industry is preferred.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
