Job Description

  • Process and verify invoices in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and address discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end processes.
  • Communicate with internal departments and external suppliers to resolve queries.
  • Assist in the preparation of payment runs and ensure timely payments.
  • Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the accounts payable function.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Payable Clerk should have:

  • A strong understanding of accounts payable processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
